Refund and cancellation policy

This policy applies to fees invoiced by Listenerpacketgrid for a Listening Seat, Packet Studio, or Grid Fellowship. It does not create a checkout on this website. Consumer rights under United Kingdom law are not affected where they apply.

Eligibility

You may request a full refund of a Packet Studio or Fellowship fee if you cancel in writing more than 14 days before the first live session and no private tutorial has been delivered. Listening Seat fees are refundable within 14 days of payment if you have not downloaded the worksheet pack or opened more than two archived recordings, as logged on our side.

Timeframe for asking

Send the request to info@listenerpacketgrid.digital with the invoice number. We acknowledge within two working days. Cooling-off rights for distance contracts, where you are a consumer, run for 14 days from the day after the contract is made, unless you asked us to start the recordings immediately and acknowledged that you would lose that right.

Full and partial refunds

Full refund: unused Packet Studio before the 14-day cut-off, or a Listening Seat within the download limits above. Partial refund: if you cancel after the first live session but before the third, we retain 35% of the studio fee for preparation and the seat we did not offer to the wait list, and return the rest. After the third session, fees are not returned except where we cancel the remaining programme.

Non-refundable items

Travel, hotel, or time off you booked for the optional York reading afternoon. Vendor licences. Custom event-dictionary annotations already delivered in a Fellowship. Seats transferred to a named colleague at your request (the transfer itself is free once; the fee stays paid).

Process

1. Email the desk. 2. We confirm which materials were accessed. 3. We issue a credit note. 4. We return funds by the same method we received, usually UK bank transfer. If you paid from a company account, the refund goes there.

Processing time

Once we agree the amount, expect the funds to leave our account within 10 working days. Banks may take a few more days to show the credit.

Refund method

Same method as payment. We do not refund in store credit or in additional recordings unless you ask for that substitution in writing.

Cancellation by us

If we cancel a cohort (illness, under-enrolment, or venue failure), you may move to the next dated studio or take a full refund. We are not responsible for your travel costs.

Exceptions

If a live session is unusable because of a failure on our side (no recording, tutor absent without a substitute), we will restage that week or refund a pro-rata slice. Disappointment with a product metric after honest teaching is not a defect. Chargebacks opened without first writing to the desk may delay our ability to restore access while we investigate.
